(서울=연합뉴스) 송광호 기자 = 1980년대 5.18 민주화운동을 소재로 한 창작무용 '오월바람'이 다음 달 11~12일 종로구 동숭동 대학로 아르코예술극장 대극장 무대에 오른다.

'오월바람'은 5.18 민주화운동을 배경으로, 섬세하고 격렬한 군무와 인물의 감정에 집중한 작품이다.

국립발레단 상임감독과 부예술감독으로 활동한 문병남 M발레단 대표가 안무를 구성했다. 연출은 황진성, 작곡은 나인실이 각각 맡았다.

 

한국문화예술위원회의 '2019 창작산실' 올해의 신작에 선정된 작품이다. M발레단은 "5.18의 역사적 아픔을 아름다운 파드되(2인무)와 강한 군무로 담아낸 드라마틱한 발레"라고 소개했다.
