오월걸상위원회, 20일 서울 기독교회관서 출범 기자회견

(광주=연합뉴스) 정회성 기자 = "잠시 앉아서 이 땅의 민주화를 이끈 1980년 5월 광주를 떠올리자."

5·18기념재단은 20일 오후 1시 서울 종로5가 기독교회관 앞에서 오월걸상위원회 출범 기자회견을 연다고 19일 밝혔다.

'오월 걸상'은 5·18민주화운동과 1980년 이후 진상규명투쟁 과정에서 헌신하고 희생한 이를 기리는 5·18 전국·현재화 사업이다.

일본군 성노예 '위안부' 문제를 다룬 소녀상처럼 5·18을 상징하는 조형물로써 전국 100여곳 설치가 목표다.
